Urgent issue needs entire community's attention

In an effort to lessen insurance exposure to the condominium association, we asked your master insurance policy carrier what liability exposures one may have from not doing any improvements to an original builder installed the deck. Unfortunately, the builder installed decks have shown signs of deterioration and the Board of Directors is asking that each and every owner inspect their deck for safety purposes and is seriously recommending repair/replacement at this time. We ask that everyone inspect and review their current decks whether they are original or have been replaced at some other time. We cannot stress the urgency of this matter enough for everyone's health and safety.
We remind everyone that this is an individual unit owner's responsibility. We would also like to strongly suggest that each of you meet with your personal insurance agent to review your policy to make sure that it is written correctly for subsequent liability exposure and property damage coverage.
This is a very serious issue and we ask for everyone's cooperation accordingly.
